That first class was quite the experience. I picked a card kit that was way beyond beginner level (it even involved an exacto knife!), and I spent a couple of hours sweating over that card while everyone else was laughing, chatting, and breezing through their projects. I left thinking, “Well, that was fun… I am never going back!” But the following month, that same friend encouraged me to come back, and this time, she helped me pick an easier kit. I finally started getting the hang of it and realized just how fun and satisfying it could be to make something by hand. Soon, I was hooked—I started going every month and even brought friends along!

Since then, papercrafting has become a huge part of my life. I love working on everything from cards and memory-keeping albums to 3D projects and mixed media creations. It’s so rewarding to see all the colors, textures, and embellishments come together into something unique. Papercrafting is my happy place, and now I get to share it with others!

A Little About Me
Outside of papercrafting, I’m an avid reader with a yearly goal of 100 books. My husband and I are big travel lovers, and we plan much of our life around new adventures. I also enjoy winding down with a good series, and I’m currently making my way through Law & Order: SVU and Grey’s Anatomy. A former elementary teacher and paralegal, I now run my own consulting business, and I bring my love for teaching into my crafting workshops and tutorials. When I’m in my crafting zone, I usually have music or the TV on, creating with all my favorite supplies in my happy colors—purple, bright pinks, and rich blues.
